VILLAGE COUNCIL
December 7, 1960
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held
at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on December 7, 1960, at 7:30
o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following was absent: Nadasdy.
Present were Village Attorney, Stanley D. Kane; Village Engineer, Donald
Sorensen; Building Inspector, Dan Lynch, Deputy Clerk, Helen Penniman;
President of the Planning Commission, George Pennock.
The Acting Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:40 P. M.
Invocation: Rabbi Mark Liebhaber, Tifereth B'Nai Jacob Synagogue, 1501
Xerxes Avenue North.
Village Election:
The Acting Mayor called the Council to order as a Canvassing Board. The
Deputy Commissioner of Registration presented the election returns and the
Council viewed the voting machines for the Village Election held on Tuesday,
December 6, 1960, as follows:
