SPECIAL MEETING
of the
VILLAGE CO[3NCIL
December 29, 1964
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on December 29, 1964, at
12:00 o'clock noon.
The following members were present: Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi;
and the following was absent: Flannagan.
Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Attorney, Robert M.
Skare; Village Engineer, Donald Sorensen; Village Clerk, Helen Penniman.
Planning Commission Members:
The Village Manager presented a list of residents available for appointment.
Council discussed methods of selection for appointment to the Planning Com-
mission, based on geographical location or other qulaifications.
Council deferred the matter to the meeting of January 5, 1965.
Payment of Taxes - Park Property:
The Village Manager presented a request for payment of taxes on Lots 1 & 2,
Block 3, Bergstrom's Valley Heights Addition, newly acquired park property
for addition to Wesley Park, in the amount of $1,547.40.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Garis carried to approve the payment of taxes
on Lots 1 & 2, Block 3, Bergstrom's Valley Heights Addition, park property
for addition to Wesley Park in the amount of $1,547.40.
Bills:
MOVED by Schaphorst seconded by Garis carried to approve the bills as sub-
mitted on the prelist.
Other items on the agenda were discussed by Council, but no action was taken.
Council discussed the purchase of a fire truck, but took no action.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Garis carried to adjourn the meeting at 1:00 P.M.
