VILLAGE COUNCIL
June 25, 1973
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the Council of
the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held at 7800
Golden Valley Road in said Village on June 25, 1973 at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bix, Hoover, Moberg and Riggs; the follow-
ing was absent: Ulstad.
Present were the Village Attorney, Robert M. Skare and Village Clerk, Helen
Penniman.
The Special Meeting was called by the Council and continued from June 18, 1973
to consider "On -Sale" Liquor applications by Herbert Kline dba The Point Supper
Club and Motel Restaurants, Inc., dba Lloyd's Valley Inn, located in Holiday
Motor Hotel.

Herbert Kline dba The Point Supper Club:
Mr. Herbert Kline and his attorney, Richard Hunegs, were present to answer
questions for Council. Mr. Kline stated that he did not owe Mr. Larry Hork
any money and Mr. Hork did not owe him any money. Mr. Kline stated that the
parking lot will be taken care of and would try to improve the lot by Fall 1973.
Checks for delinquent Village utitlities and delinquent Hennepin County real
estate taxes were presented by Mr. Hunegs for The Point Supper Club at 7711
Golden Valley Road.
MOVED by Bix seconded by Moberg carried to approve the application of Herbert
Kline dba The Point Supper Club at 7711 Golden Valley Road, for "On -Sale"
Liquor License. Hoover voted "No".
Motel Restaurants, Inc. dba Holiday Motor Hotel:
Mr. Lloyd A. Olsten, President and Director of Motel Restaurants, Inc. dba
Holiday Motor Hotel, was present to answer questions for Council. Mr. Olsten
presented a receipt for the delinquent real estate taxes (last half of 1972)
on the Holiday Motor Hotel and a current list of the officers and stockholders
for the Motel Restaurants, Inc., Woody's Inc. and First American Investment, Inc.
MOVED by Bix seconded by Moberg carried unanimously to renew the "On -Sale" Liq-
uor License for Motel Restaurants, Inc., dba Holiday Motor Hotel.
MOVED by Moberg seconded by Bix carried to renew the Sunday "On -Sale" Liquor
License for Motel Restaurants, Inc., dba Holiday Motor Hotel.
MOVED by Bix seconded by Moberg carried to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 P. M.
