Regular Meeting
of the
City Council
November 20, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 7800 Golden
Valley Road in said City on November 20, 1984 at 6:30 PM.
Thejfollowing members were present: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and
Thompson. Also present were: William J oynes, City Manager; Lowell Odland,
Director of Public Works; Robert Skare, City Attorney and Judy Nally, Deputy
CitV Clerk.
Approval of Council Minutes - November 7, 1984
MOV�D by Johnson, seconded by Thompson and motion carried unanimously to approve
the minutes of the City Council meeting of November 7, 1984 as submitted.

The, motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson, and the following
• voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy

repair parts for the winch system for the boom truck from the only bidder, ABM
Company for $2,213.70.

a drill press from the lowest responsible bidder, Riteway Motor Parts, Inc. for
$1,33.00. The quotes were as follows:

Annpuncements of Meetings
Mayor Anderson and Council Member Thompson will interview prospective candidates
ford the Planning Commission vacancy on December 4, 1984 beginning at 5:45 PM in
the Mayor/Council office.
The'ICity Council and MnDOT will hold an informal hearing regarding I-394 on
December 10, 1984 beginning at 6:00 PM in the auditorium of the Prudential
Buirding at France Avenue and T.H. 12.
