of the
City Council
October 29, 1985
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 7800 Golden
Valley Road in said City on October 29, 1985 at 5:30 Ph1.
The following members were present: Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson and
the following riember was absent: Anderson. Also present were: Lowell Odland,
Director of Public Works and Don Taylor, Finance Director.
Waiver of Public Hearing - RSL 156
Lowell Odland presented the project.
Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION WAIVING TNE PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 429.031, SUBD. 3
ANO ORDERING CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
RSL 156
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following was
absent: Anderson, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and
her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk. See Resolution Book Page .
Bond Sale Bid Opening - Valley Square, Area A - $6,101,872
Robert Pulscher, Springsted Incorporated; and Don Taylor, Finance Director were
present to review the bids and answer questions from the Council .
Member Bakken introduced th following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE, AWARDING THE SALE,
PRESCRIBING THE FORM AND DETAILS AND PROVIDING
FOR THE PAYMENT OF $6,101,872 GENERAL OBLIGATION
TAX INCREMENT BONDS, SERIES 1985B
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following was
absent: Anderson, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the f�layor and
her signature attested by the City Clerk. See Resolution Book Page .
