RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED
by the
Village Council
Resolution No. 37 March 2, 1954
Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption.
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION
OF SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That at a hearing held this day at 7:30 otclock P.M.
at the Village Hall in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota
after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law,
this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested
and, being fully advised oda the pertinent facts, has hereby
determined to proceed with the construction of a proposed san-
itary sewer improvement for said Village in accordance with the
description of said improvement contained in said notice, under-
taking the improvement in conjunction with one or more neigh-
boring municipalities, provided that it is possible to reach
an agreement with one or more neighboring municipalities, on a
cost= sharing basis. Should it be impossible to reach such an
agreement with one or more neighboring municipalities, the Coun-
cil will proceed to undertake the improvement for Golden Valley
alone, and not in conjunction with one or more neighboring mu-
nicipalities.
Said improvement is hereby designated as Sewer Improvement
No. 1 of the Village.
2. The cost of said improvement shall be paid out o•f
special assessments and general ad valorem taxes levied on all
taxable property in the Village, to be levied as set forth in
said notice of public hearing.
3. The action of the Council and that certain resolution
entitled "Resolution Ordering Construction of Sewer Improvement
Number 1" taken and adopted by the Village Council on December
15, 1953, as the same appears in the minutes and resolution
book of the Council for that date, is hereby rescinded.
