#042 04-06-54 Accept Developmnet Brookfair Addition1 �7� The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stark, and on vote being taken thereon., the following members voted in favor thereof: Foss, Huebsch, Rahn, Stark, Bias; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was duly declared passed and adopted, and was signed by the Mayor, and his sig- nature attested by the Clerk. RESOLUTION ADOPTED by the Village Council Resolution No. 42 April 6, 1954 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BOND FOR DEVELOPMENT OF BROOKFAIR ADDITION WHEREAS Associated Contractors, Inc., are the developers of all lots platted in Brookfair Addition, and have submitted bond to the Village of Golden Valley guaranteeing performance of certain acts in relation to said Brookfair Addition, and WHEREAS said Associated Contractors,, Inc., have made ap- plication to the Veterans Administration for loan guaranty in connection with the construction of homes thereon, and WHEREAS the Veterans Administration requires as a pre- requisite to the granting of such guarantee that the Village assume the responsibility for the improvement of the public streets in said addition by grading, stablizing and oiling all streets in said addition, plant one tree for each lot in the said addition and by construction of the street name signs on standard metal posts at all intersections and the construction of necessary drainage facilities and that all said work be completed without levying any special assessments against the properties in the said addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the Village assume the re- sponsibility for the making of the aforesaid improvements in said addition heretofore accepted by the Village Council and known as Brookfair Addition, and that all the aforesaid im- provements be made without the levying of any special asses- ments therefore against the property in said addition, the Village of Golden Valley to assume said obligations conditioned �1 4
