#058 07-20-54 Award Sale Sewer Improvement Bonds1 Resolution No. 5$ July 20, 1954 Member Stark introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF $750,000 SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1 BONDS, SERIES A AND B BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that the syndicated bid of Piper, Jaffray, and Hopwood, J. M. Dain & Company, Allison -Williams Company, Cadwell, Phillips Company, Mannheimer -Egan, Inc., Shaughessy & Company, Inc., Harold E. Wood and Company, Woodard -Elwell and Company, Paine, Webber,.Jackson, and Curtis, Kalman and Company, Juran and Mood, E. J. Prescott Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to purchase 4750POOO Sewer Improvement No. 1 Bonds, Series A and B, of the Village to be dated July 1, 1954, at a price of par and accrued interest plus a premium of $100.00 the bonds maturing in the years set forth below to bear interest at the respective rates per annum set opposite such maturity years: Maturity Years 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 Interest Rates 3% a 3% 3% m and to be issued in accordance with the notice of call for bids heretofore duly published, is hereby found and declared to be the highest and best bid received pursuant to advertised notice of sale of said bonds and is hereby accepted. The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse accep- tance of said bid in behalf of the Village on the bid submitted by said successful bidder, and to return to him one copy of his bid. The Village Clerk is directed to retain the good faith check of said successful bidder, and to return all other good faith checks forthwith.
