#076 10-05-54 Calling Special ElectionResolution No, 76 October 5, 1954 Member Bies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION CALLING SPECIAL ELECTION" RESOLVED, that a special election be held in the Village of Golden Valley on the 2nd day of November, 1954, from 7:00 otclock A.M. to 8:00 o'clock F.M. at the usual polling places to vote on the following proposition: "Shall Optional Plan A, modifying the standard plan of village government by providing for the appointment by the council of the clerk, treasurer and assessor, be adopted for the government of the village?" RESOLVED FURTHER, that the village clerk prepare the necessary ballots and tally sheets, give ten days' posted and one weekts published notice, and arrange other details necessary for the election. ,, Mayor Atte The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution 0 1 was duly seconded by Member Stark and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Foss, Huebsch, and ,Stark, and the following voted afpimst the same: Member Rahn, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the 0lerk.
