#081 11-04-54 Order Construction Lateral Sewer Improvements No. 1146 .pit Resolution No. 81 November 4, 1955 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF LATERAL SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota as follows: 1. That at a hearing held on October 5, 1954, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall in the Village of Golden Valley after notice of said hearing dulj published.as requir- ed by law, this Counc-ii has consulted the views of all per- sons interested, and being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the'-conslruction of certain lateral sewer improvements for said Village in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice as follows: a. All of lateral sewer district l(a). b. All of lateral sewer district 1(b). c. All of lateral sewer district 1(c) except the follow- ing: Yale Garden Homes'(the area from Noble Avenue to Regent Avenue and from 34th Avenue to Lowry Terrace, and the area west of Regent Avenue) provided, however, that the sewer shall be constructed in said area where necessary to connect the Noble Grove area with the trunk sewer and shall serve both sides of Lowry Terrace in said accepted area. d. All of lateral sewer district 1(d). e. All of lateral sewer district 1(e) except West Urban, provided, however, that the sewer shall be constructed to serve property abutting on Regent Avenue and lying south of West Urban. f. Lateral sewer shall not be constructed in lateral sewer district 1(f), at this time. g. All of lateral sewer district 1(g) in accordance with the alternate proposal contained in the letter of the Enter- sas�a�-gaper-6epeay-eateel Miller -Davis Company, represen- tatives of the International Paper Company, dated October 8, 1954, provided, however, that the International Paper Company shall immediately pay to the Village of Golden Valley the sum of Twenty-three Thousand ($23,000.00) Dollars to be applied towards payment of the estimated cost of the lateral sewer in district 1(g). 4 h. All of lateral sewer district 1(h)• The Engineers having reported that it is feasible and more economical to undertake the above improvements as one project, the above improvements are hereby consolidated into one improvement and said improvement is hereby designated "Lateral Sewer Improvement No. 111. 2. The cost of said improvement shall be paid out of special assessments to be levied'as set forth in said notice of public hearing. Atte The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stark, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Foss, Huebsch, Rahn and Stark; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk, 1
