#103 02-15-55 Provide Public Hearing Watermain ImprovementRESOLUTIONS ADOPTED by the VILLAGE COUNCIL Resolution No. 103 February 15, 1955 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. It is hereby found and determined that G. M. Orr Engineering Co., Engineers, have heretofore reported to this Council that a water main improvement for the Village as hereinafter described, is feasible and may best be made as proposed and that the estimated cost of said improve- ment to the Village is $1,200.00 2. This Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice,included in paragraph 3 hereof for the purpose of holding a public bearing on the proposed construction of a water main improvement as therein described. 3. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purppse of said meeting to be published for two Successive weeks, in the Suburban Press, being the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be not less than 10 days and second not less than 3 days prior to the date of said meeting. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE.OF PUBLIC HE RING.0F PROPOSED WATER MAIN. IMPROVFMNT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,. Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on March 15, 1955 at 7:30 o+clock P.M. at the Village Hall in.said Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed water main improvement. The proposed water main improvement will follow the following route, and will be located in 26th Avenue North between Zenith Avenue North and Xerxes Avenue North. The water main improvement is in accordance with preliminary plans and estimates now on file in the office of the Village Clerk. The Engineers for the Village estimate that the cost of the improvement will be $1,200.00
