Resolution No. 123 September b, 1955
Member Bies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows;
1. That at a hearing held this day at 7:30 o1clock P.M. at the Village Fall
in said Village, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law,
this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested, and, being fully
advised of the pertinent facts has hereby determined to proceed with the con-
struction of a certain sanitary sever improvement and to dothe following proposed
works
The construction and installation of a sanitary sewer lateral
system in ,the area named j.na :said notice of public hearing.
The above described improvement shall be constructed in accordance with the
description of it contained in said notice of public hearing.
2. The Council finds and determines that, although the above improvement
was separately instituted, it can be more economically completed if consolidated
and joined with the other lateral sewer projects included in Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Improvement No. 1 of the Village, and said improvement is hereby consolidated
ftth Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1.
3. The cost of said improvement shall be paid out of special assessments to
be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing.
4. G. M. Orr Engineering Company is hereby designated as the engineers for
this improvement. It is hereby authorized and instructed to prepare final and
working plans and specifications for the making of such improvement and to present
said plans and specifications to this Council for approval.
5. It is hereby found and determined that no advertisement for bids is
necessary in this matter, and that the engineers shall proceed to prepare a change
order to and for the contractors engaged by the Village for the construction of

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Stark and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof Bies, Foss, Nadasdy' Rahn, Stark, and the following voted against the
samer None' whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
