Resolution No. 124.

Member Stark introduced the following resolution and moved it adoptions
RESOLUTION ORDERING STREET IMPROVEMENT
AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, adopted August 16, 1955, fixed a date for a hearing on a proposed street
improvement as described in the notice of public hearing on said proposed street
improvement published in the Suburban Press August 18 and August 25, 1955, and
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for the
making of this improvement were given the required ten (10) days published notice,
and all interested parties have been heard at the public hearing conducted at this
meeting as set forth above, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of t he Village of Golden Valley as
follows I.
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted August 16, 1955,
2, The Village Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this
improvement and is directed to prepare plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.
3. The Village Engineer shall proceed under the direction of the Council,
as given from time to time, to carry on all work in connection with said improvement
in accordance with the specifications, which shall be approved by the Council at
the earliest possible date, using day labor for the construction of said improve-
ment.
4. Cost of said improvement shall be paid out of special assessments to be
levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Bies and upon vots being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bies, Foss, Madasdy, Rahn, Stark, and the following voted against the
same« None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
