#134 10-04-55 Provide Public Hearing Sanitary Sewer ImprovementI[ Resolution No. 134. October 4, 1955 Member Bies introduced and read the following written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT BE IT RESOLVED,, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: I. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct a sewer improvement wit�in the Village as stated in the form of notice in- cluded in paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Consulting Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed sewer improve - went is feasiblle and should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvement, and has given his estimated cost of the im- provement as follows: Proposed sewer improvement, $1,053,743.00 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing pn the proposed sewer improvement as described therein. 4. The ClFrk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, i place and purpo$e of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publicatio s to be in the issue of said paper dated November 3, and the second of s ch publications to be in the issue of said paper dated November -10, 1955. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: i 273 1 The Engineer for the Village estimates that the entire cost for the im- provement will be $1,053,743.00 of which amount it is presently estimated that the City Of St. Louis Park will pay $150.000.00. In conductinc said public hearing for making its decisions on the pro- posed improvements, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953. All property within the Village which is benefitted by the improvements is proposed to be assessed for such improvement as follow: All property in the Village located in the above described area and all pr�perty located on either side of streets abutting on the above described area including all railroad rights -of -ways and all railroad property. All owners of property in and abutting on said streets and in said area are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing, and to make known their objjctions to such proposed improvement, if any there be. KANE X43 Plymouth Building Minneapolis, Minnesota 5 274 VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY HENNEPIN, COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT (SOUTH TRUNK) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennep,n County, Minnesota, will meet on Monday, November 14, 1955, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at Meadowbrook School located at the intersection of Turner's Crossroad and Glenwood Avenue (and not at the Village Hall where meetings are usually held) for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a proposed sanitary sewer improvement as follows: Installation and construction of a sanitary sewer trunk system and all things appurtenant thereto located in and designed to serve the following described area in Golden Valley and certain areas in St. Louis Park through cooperative aggreement with St. Louis Park: That area bounded approximately by France Avenue on the East, Floyd B. Olson Highway (6th Avenue North) on the North, Winnetka on the West and Wayzata Bou levard and Douglas Avenue on the South. A complete description is !s follows: All that property included within the following described boundary line to wit: Beginning 4t a point on the centerline of France Avenue and the south property line of the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railroad right-of-way. Thence Southwesterly along the South right- of-way lin to a point on the cneterline of Minnesota Trunk Highway Number 100 thence Northwesterly along the centerline to a point on the cen erline of Floyd B.
