#154 04-17-56 Regard Improvements in Dawn Acres Addition324 Resolution No. 154 April 17, 1956 Member Stark introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: P RESOLUTION REGARDING IMPROVEMENTS IN DAWN ACRES ADDITION WHEREAS, Grandview Land Development Corporation is the developer of all platted lots in Dawn. Acres 1st Addition, and WHEREAS, application has been made to the Veterans Administration and the Federal Housing Administration for loan guaranties 3.n connection with the construction of homes thereon, and WHEREAS, the Veterans Administration and the Federal Housing Administration require, as a prerequisite to the granting of such guaranties that the Village assume the responsibility for the improvement of the public streets in said addition by installing storm sewer system; curb and gutter, rolled spha3.10curb wand gutter `of a quallity and type to prevent any and all erosion; pavement base; 60 gcavei per Village of Golden Valley; Wearing surface: 2" oil treatment; Street name signg: standard.metal, and that all said work be completed without levying of any special assessments against the properties in the said addition by April 17, 1957. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the Village Assume the reaponsibility for the making of the aforesaid improvements in said addition heretofore accepted by the Village Council known as Dawn Acres lst Addition, and that all the aforesaid improvements be made without the levying of any special assessments therefore against the property in said addition. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Veterans Administration and the Federal Housing Administration be advised of this action by the Village Clerl� furnishing to said Veterans Administration and Federal Housing Adminis- tration a certified copy of this Resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution wasduly seconded by Member Bias and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bias, Nadasdy, Rahn., Stark, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: Bone, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
