#159 05-09-56 Order Improvement by Day Labor336 Resolution No. 159 May 9, 1956 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT BY DAY LABOR WHEREAS, ON April 26, 1956, and on May 3, 1956, an advertisement for bids for a certain street improvement involving re-laying of bituminous mat on previously paved streets in Trunk and Lateral Seger District No. 1 was published in the official newspaper of the Village on April 26., 1956 and May 3, 1956,pursuant to resolution of the Council dated April 17, 1956; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, that the preparation for and laying of said bituminous. mat is hereby ordered'and the plans and specifications therefor heretofore submitted by the Village Engineer are hereby approved, and it is ordered and directed that said improvement shall be done by day labor pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 429.011, Subd. 4, and the Village Engineer is hereby authorized and instructed to prepare and file with this Village - Clerk from time to time, complete reports of the progress of said work, including the cost of material, labor and equipment, whether purchased or hired. yor STT s eCer The motion for the adoption of by Member Stark, and upon vote voted in favor thereof: Bies, following voted against the s declared duly passed, and adopt attested by the Clerk. the foregoing resolution was duly, seconded being taken thereon, the following members Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark, and Teresi; and the aures None, wheraupon said resolution was ted, signed by the Magor and his signature 1
