#169 06-26-56 Approve Advertisement for Bids356 Resolution No. 169 June 26, 1956 e'G' Member Stark introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on Tuesday, the 26th day of June, 1956, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the construction of certain public improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval., NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copy of which is hereto attached and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 11;00 o'clock A.M. on the 20th day of July, 1956, in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check, payable to the Village of Golden Valley, for 5% of the amount of the bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following �,o$ed in favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark, and Teresi; and the following voted against the sames None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1 1
