Resolution No. 189 September 18, 1956
Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION REGARDING TURNERIS CROSSROAD, GLENWOOD
AVENUE AND SIXTH AVENUE NORTH
BE IT RESOLVED, that all that part of State Air Road No. 6 in the Village
of Golden Valley, lying between State Aid Road No. 156 on the East,
and State Aid Road No. 18 on the West (being the westerly limits of
said Village),
Be, and hereby is, rescinded as a State Aid or County Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all -that part of State Aid Road #41 in
the Village of Golden Valley described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of U.S. Highway #12 and State
Aid Road #41 on the East line of Section 4, Township 117,
Range 21; thence North on State Aid Road #41 along the East
line of said Section 4 and Section 33, Township 118, Range 21,
to its intersection with State Trunk Highway #100, and there
terminating,
Be, and hereby is, -rescinded as a State Aid or County Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that State Aid Road No. 25 as designated in the
Commissioner of Highwayts Order'No. 9213 and described as follows:
Beginning at the West limits of the City of Minneapolis in Section 20,
Township 29, Range 24; thence westerly along County Road No. 25 to
its junction with County Road No. 6 (now State Aid Road) in Section 32,
Township 118, Range 21,
Be, and hereby is, rescinded as a State Aid or County Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all that part of former County Road #40
and present County Road #40, described as follows:
Beginning at the East limits of the Village of Golden Valley
and County Road #40 (Glenwood Avenue); thence Westerly along
said County Road #40 to State Trunk Highway #100; thence con-
tinuing Westerly along the formerly designated County Road #40
(Glenwood Avenue) to the intersection with Trunk Highway #5�5
in the Northwest Quarter (NW -41) of the Southeast Quarter (SE-)
of Section 32, Township 118, Range 22, and there terminating,
Be, and hereby is, designated as State Aid Road #40.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Rahn, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Radasdy, Rahn, Stark, and Teresi; and the following voted
against the same: done, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by
the Clerk.

I do hereby certify that at a regular meeting of the Village Council of
