#020 03-19-57 Provide Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvements No. 4c38 C" Resolution No, 20 March 19,1957 Member Bies introduced and read the following written resolu- tion and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION'PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED LATERAD SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS NO. 4(c) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as followss 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain lateral sanitary sewer improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to.the Council ad- vising it in a preliminary way that the proposed lateral sanitai7 sewer improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvement, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: Total cost of improvements: $267,74o.00 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvements as describedtherein. 4* The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated March 28,1957, and the second of said publica- tions to be in the issue of said paper dated April 4,1957. Estimated cost of this improvement alonet $50214.00 In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed improvements, the Village Council proposes to pro- ceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Lags for 1953, as amended. Each of said improvements will be separately considered and separately decided upon. An property within the Village which is benefited by the improvements is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the descriptions set forth above, including all property abutting on streets described above, whether such property be in the area described,or not, and including all railroad property and all railroad rights-of-way.
