#026 04-10-57 Authorize Conveyance Tax Forfeited LandIn Resolution No. 26. April 10, 1957 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution, and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AP1?LMAaN=F0R CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, has received from the County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota, a list of lands in said village which became the property of the State of Minnesota under the provisions of law declaring the forfeiture of lands to the State for non-payment of taxes, which said list has been designated as Classification List "1127-C", January 22, 1957, as follows: "VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY" PARCEL NO. 37378 - 1919 That part of the N1W 1/4 of SW 1/4 lying South- westerly of Ry. right of way. Section 28, Twp. 118, Range 21. WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said list has heretofore been classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non -conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By said Village Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statutes for 1949, Section 282.01, Subd. 1, that the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners of each parcel of land described in said list as non -conservation land be and the same is hereby approved and that the sal6'of each such parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved. Mayor wo-"..Z / r� A � Kra Village =erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
