Resolution No. 30 April 16, 1957
Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOPED its adoption:
"RESOLUTION GRANTING USE PERMITS TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN
YALE GARDEN HOMES"
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley has hereto-
fore accepted and approved a replat of the East z of Yale Garden Homes
prepared by Morrell & Nichols, and
WHEREAS, said replat contains certain lots, parcels and tracts of land
which are substandard in frontage or area, or both, within the meaning
of the applicable ordinances and regulations of the Village, and speci-
fically, but not exclusively of the Zoning Code, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of said replat was to establish a street pattern
for said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley as followsa
1. There is hereby granted to persons who became the owners of one or
more such substandard lots, tracts or parcels of land, as a result of the
acceptance and approval of said replat of the East 1 of Yale Garden Homes
by the Village Council, their heirs, successors and assigns, a special use
permit and waiver of frontage and area provisions to permit the erection
and construction of buildings on such substandard lots, tracts, or parcels
of land.
2. Such special use permits and waivers are granted on condition that
such buildings and structure to be erected shall otherwise conform with
the applicable ordinances and regulations of the Village of Golden Valley
and, on the further condition that such lots, tracts or parcels of land
be conveyed only in accordance with said replat and not otherwise.
3. Where it is found that the provisions of this resolution and of the
applicable ordinances and regulations of the Village are complied with, a
building permit may be issued for such lots, tracts or parcels by the
proper official of the Village without reference of the application to
the Village Council

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Stark, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereofa Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark and Teresi; and the following
voted against the samer None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the
Clerk.
