#039 05-07-57 Order Work Done by Day LaborResolution No. 39 May 7, 1957 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoptions RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK DONE BY DAY LABOR WHEREAS, the Village Council has by resolution heretofore approved plans and specifications for various improvements projects, including lateral sanitary sewers 4(a) 4(b) 4(c) and trunk sanitary sewer No. 2 and trunk sanitary sewer No. 3, and, WEMAs, completion of said improvement projects, and each of them, re- quires street grading, gravelling and bituminous surfacing of various streets, all of which work has heretofore been duly approved and ordered by the Village Council, NOW TARE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden galley, iesota, as follows: 1. The Village Engineer shall proceed under the direction of the Council, as given from time to time, to carry on all work in connection with such improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications and resolution ordering said work done heretofore approved by the Council. 2. It is hereby found and determined that the Village of golden Valley has sufficient equipment on hand and available for use of the type necessary to carry on said street grading, gravelling and bituminous Sur- facing. And it is hereby directed that said equipment be used for said work, and that the various sewer construction funds shall be charged for the use of said equipment the reasonable rental value thereof as the cost of said work, and the Village Engineer shall keep an accurate record and account of the use and rental of said equip,ent and shall in- clude it on any and all reports on the cost of work done by day labor under the provisions of this resolution. 3. It is hereby ordered and directed that materials for the impro- vements covered by this resolution and any and all other similar work needed and required therefor during the 12 -month period beginning June 1, 1957, shall be purchased by advertising once therefor, calling for bids for said materials at unit prices based on the quantities set forth in plans and specifications approved for use in calling for bids hereunder.. yor Attes g Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Rahn and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Teresi, and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
