#040 05-14-57 Order Public Improvement Indiana Ave N Bituminous Paving Fund 21fResolution No. 40 May 14, 1957 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (Indiana Avenue North Bituminous Paving - Fund 21-f) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a hearing held on this day at 7:30 o•clock P.M., at the Village Hall in the Village of Golden Valley, after notice of said" heai ing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested, and being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does,hereby determine to proceed with the construction of a certain prow posed public improvement for said Village, in accordance with the descrip- tion of said improvement contained in said notice, as follows: Improvement of Indiana Avenue North from Golden Valley Road to the cul-de-sac in Cumberland Hills. Further consideration of all other proposed improvements described in said notice is hereby deferred, and said other improvements will be considered at the.metting of this Council to be held on May 28,1957. Said improvement of Indiana Avenue is hereby designated as Public Improvement Fund 21-f. 2. The -cost of said improvement shall be paid out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 3. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of proposed Public Improvement, Fund 21-f, and he is hereby authorized ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and speci- fications for said improvement and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. Mayor Attest illage'Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark, Teresi and the follow- ing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
