#042 05-14-57 Provide Public Hearing Sanitary Sewer Improvement 4a, 4b, Murri-MacResolution No. 42 May 14,1957 Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions RESOLUTION .PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A LATERAL SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT 4(a) and 4(b) - Murri-Mac) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, -as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct a certain lateral sanitary sewer improvement within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in -a preliminary way that the proposed lateral sanitary sewer improve- ment is feasible and that it should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvement, and has given his estimated cost of the improvement as follows: Total cost of improvements $25,000.00 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvement as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks -in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated May 23, 1957, and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated May 30,1957. Such notice shall be in substantially the following forms VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY HENNEP IN CKJNTY'; MD*1ESQXA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A CERTAIN PROPOSED LATERAL SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT (4(a) and 4(b) - Murri-Mac) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on June 4,1957, at 7:00 o*clock P.M. at the Village Hall in said Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a certain proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvement. Resolution No. 42 (continued) May 14,1957 The Engineer for the Village estimates that the entire cost for the improvement will be $25,000.00 The area to be served will be as follows: Lots 1, 2 and 3, Auditor's Subdivision 285, and all that part of the Southeast * of the North- east 4 of Section 6, Township 117, Range 21, ly- ing South and West of Arcridge Addition; and also, all that part of the Southwest J of the Northeast 4 of Section 6, Township 117, Range 21 lying South of Wayzata Boulevard (Trunk Highway 12) and also Southwest of Arcridge Addition. In conducting said public hearing for making its deci- sion or the proposed improvement, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvement is proposed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the description set forth above, including all property within the described area and/or abutting on streets described above. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvement, if any there be.
