Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT(S) FOR
IATERAL SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS NO. 4(c)
(Including Murri-Mac)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found, determined and declared, that the lowest
responsible bidder for work and materials necessary for the construc-
tion of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvements No. 4(c) is as
follows:

Sorenson & Rue 296,820.25
Lemetti & Sons,Inc. 248,800.45
Barbarossa & Nodland 246,871.40
and that the bids submitted by said bidder(s) listed above are in all
respects in accordance with law and with the published advertisement
for bids, and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by
the Council and now on file and of record in the office of the Village
Clerk; and that the Engineer employed by the Village has recommended
that said bids be accepted, and said bids are hereby accepted.
2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to make and execute contract(s) on behalf of the Village in accordance
with the terms of said bids when the bidder(*.hall have furnished
contractor*s bonds in the amount of the bids, conditioned as required
by law.
3. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
all such cash deposits, bid bonds or certified checks furnished
by other bidders, and to retain those furnished by said contractor(s)
until the execution and filing of said contract(s) and bond(s) in
his office.
4. All other bids are rejected.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Rahn and, upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark,
Teresi, and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
