Member Rahn introduced the following resolutann and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK DONE BY DAY LABOR"
WHEREAS, the Village Council has by resolution heretofore approved
plans and specifications for the improvement of Indiana Avenue North
from Golden Valley Road to the cul-de-sac in Cumberland Hills by the
installation of bituminous paving and bituminous curb, and,
WHEREAS, completion of this project requires street grading, gravelling
and bituminous surfacing of this street, all of which work has hereto-
fore been duly approved and ordered by the Village Council, Nov Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows.-

1. The Village Engineer shall proceed under the direction of the
Council as given from time to time, to carry on all work in connection
with such improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications
and resolution ordering said work done heretofore approved by the Council.
2. It is hereby found and determined that the Village of Golden Valley
has sufficient equipment of the type necessary to carry on said street
grading, gravelling and -bituminous surfacing. Itis hereby directed
that said equipment be used for said work and that Fund 21 shill be
charged for the use of said equipment the reasonable rental Value
thereof as the cost of said work, and the Village Engineer shall`
keep an accurate record and account of the use and rental of said
equipment and shall include it on any and all reports on the cost of
work done by day labor under the provisions of this resolution.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark, and Teresi; and the
following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his -signature
attested by the Clerk.
