RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON A CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
(Unity Avenue lateral sewer)
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley as
followst
1. In with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of
Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct a certain public improve-
ment within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in paragraph
4 hereof.
2. The Engineers for the Village have reported to the Council advising
it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvement is feasible, and
that it should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other
improvement, and have given their estimated cost of the improvement as follows:
Total cost of improvement: $4,450.00
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of
notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hear-
ing on the proposed public improvement as described therein.
4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the
Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publi-
cations to be in the issue of said paper dated September 26, 19,57, and the
.second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated October 3.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Village Council of the Village of Bolden
Valley,.Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on Tuesday, October 15, 1957,
at 700 o'clock P.M., at 8030 Floyd B. Olson Memorial Highway in said Village,
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a certain proposed public improve-
ment.
The G. M. Orr Engineering Company estimates that the entire cost for the
improvement will be $4,450.00.
The installation of Lateral sanitary sewer in and to serve the following
areas
All that property abutting proposed Unity Avenue located
in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of

Section 18, Township 29, Range 24, beginning at North
right-of-way line of Topel Road and extending northerly
to the cul-de-sac of proposed OttQls First Addition. The
Plat of said proposed addition is on -file and open for
inspection in the office of the Village Clerk.
In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed
improvement, the Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by
Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended.
All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvement
is proposed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the description
set forth above. All owners of such property in the area and abutting said
area described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing
and to make known their objections to such proposed public improvement, if any
there be.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Rahn and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn, Stark, Teresi
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed.and adopted, signed by the
Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
