Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoptions
"RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS RECEIPTS FUND"
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley as
followsr
That all fees, charges, and all sums of money of whatever amount
and for whatever purpose of service, received or paid to any officer, official,
agent, or employee of the Village of Golden Valley, shall bepromptly paid to
the official authorized to receive the same, and he shall forthwith deposit
the same to the credit of the General Fund or other appropriate fund of the
Village, and no oMcert official, agent or employee of the Village of Golden
Valley, shall retain for -his own use, or for any purpose, any such sum.
The retention by any officer, official, agent, or employee of the
Village of any sum of money in violation of the terms of this resolution, is
hereby declared to be a crime in the innaer and to the extent prescribed -and
defined in the applicable laws of the State of Minnesota.
In the case of any sum of money paid to any officer, official, agent
or employee of the Village of Golden Valley for services rendered in the supp-
lying of any certificate or information regarding the existence, non-existence
oro amount of any special assessment, said sum shall be set aside in an appro-
priate fund earmarked for that purpose for such reimbursement of any person
injured or mihled by any faulty information of such sort as may seem fit and
proper; provided, however, that nothing in this resolution shall obligate the
Village -of Golden Vall=ey or its Village Council to reimburse arr such person
as a matter of law.
This resolut:,on shall have particular, but not exclusive, application
to any and all full or part-time salaried or hourly paid employees of the Village.
Nothing in this resolution contained shall apply to any fee received
by any justice of the Peace or Constable in accordance with the laws of the
State of Minnesota..

The motion for_ the adoptibn:-of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Stark, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof; Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Stark and Teresi; and the following voted
against the same None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the
Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. See Resolutions Book page
