#125 02-18-58 Release Park Land, Spring Green South-mom Resolution No. 125 February 18, 1958 Member Scherer introduced the following resolution and MDVED its adoptions SOLUTION REQUESTIM RELEASE DF DEDICATION OF PARK LAND" (SPRING GREEN SOUTH) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of -Golden Valley, Minnesota, as followst WKWAS, a portion of the Plat of Spring -Green South, Hennepin County, Minnesota, has been dedicated to the public for park purposes, and is pre- sently held by the Village of Golden Valley in trust for such purposes, vbi.ch said portion is more particularly described as follows, to -vitt "That portion of the 'Southwest Quarter (S.W.1) of Section Thirty (3o), Township 'twenty-nine (29), Range Twenty-four (24), lying East of the East line of Turnerts Crossroad, South of the South line of Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and'Four W., Block Two (2), Spring Green .South, West of the West line of Lot Nineteen (19), Block Two (2)9 Spring Green South, and North of the North line of the Alley separating.Spring Green South from. Registered land Survey No. lab' Hennepin County; Minnesota. and WHMW, said sands_ are deemed unfit for the purposes for which. dedicated, and it is deemed to be in the public interest that all -present or future plans or intents for such use -be abandoned, and that said lands be permitted to revert to the former owner thereof freed from said.dedication, NOW THEMWME BE IT RESOLVE by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, that the above described pm -tion of the plat. of Spring Green South Addition be abandoned as a park, and as to any and all public use or interest therein; and that the Magor of the Village and the Village Cleric with the attestation of the Village Clerk, be authorized and directed to exe- cute and deliver a Quit Claim Deed releasing said landsto the person or per- sons adjudged entitled thereto, upon the filing with -the -Village, Clerk of a certified copy of a.Decree.vacating.said.portion of said plat, and releasing said dedication, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 505.111..
