#128 03-04-58 Turners Crossroad to Circle Downs Drive1 Resolution No. 128 March 4, 1958 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MVED its adoptions "RESOLUPIONR (Turner's Crossroad to Circle Downs Drive, South Village Limits to East line of SN' 1/4 of NW 1/4 Sectionr6, Township 117, Range 21) WHEREAS the Village of Golden Valley has approved the plans and speci- fications for the improvement of that part of Trunk Highway Number 10 renum- bered as Trunk Highway Number 12 withing the corporate limits of the Village of Golden Valley from Turners Cross Road to Circle Downs Drive and 0.09 miles W. to 0.24 -Miles E. of Jct. with B.A.R. 18. WHEREAS in order to obtain Federal aid in the construction of said Trunk Highway Number 10 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 12 the Bureau of Public Roads requires the aessurance that the Village of Golden Valley will not suffer any encroachment of any nature or kind whatsoever on the right-of-way of said Trunk HLghway Number 10 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 12 within the corp- orate limits of the said Village of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS the Commissioner of Highways desires in the interest of public safety that all parking of vehicles on said Trunk Highway be parallel with the curb and at least 20 feet from any crosswalk. NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said.Vill.age of Golden Valley does hereby Wee and covenant.that it will never permit or suffer within its corporate limits, any encroachment of any kind whatsoever, including curb gas pumps and gas stations, billboards or other structers of any kind whatsoever; upon the ri ght of way of Trunk Highway Number 10 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 12 and to the above and said Village of Golden Valley hereby agrees that it will never issue any license, permit, or grant, or give any leave or liberty or any other consent of whatever from for the construction or maintenance of any -encroachment whatsoever, including curb gas pumps and gas stations, bill- boards or other structures of any kind whatsoever, upon said right of way; and that said Village of Golden Valley will cooperate insofar as pgssible to eliminate existing encroachments constituting traffic hazards and will further take any necessary action to eliminate any encroachment that may hereafter exist on said trunk highway right-of-way; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that agree to require the parking of allel with the curb and at least public streets intersecting said said Village of Golden Valley. Attest: said Village of Golden Valley does hereby all vehicles on said trunk highway to be par - twenty (20) feet from any crosswalks on all trunk highway within the corporate limits of Resolution No. 128 (continued) March 4, 1958 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereoft Bies, Flannagan, Nadascly, Scherer, and Teresis and the follnwing_voted against the samet. None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the MWor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
