#134 03-11-58 Provide Public Hearing No. 58-LF 10 thru 24300 Resolution No. 134 March 11, 1958 Member Teresi then introdeced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A LATERAL SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT (LATERAL SANITARY SEWERS - PROJECT NO. 58-L.F.) (10, 11, 22, 23, and 24) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct a certain Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvement within the Village as stated in the form of not- ice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The G. M. Orr Engineering Company, the engineers designated for the project, has reported to the Council, advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvement is feasible and that it should best be made as proposed and in connection with such other lateral sanitary sewer projects as may be and constitute part of Project No. 58-L.F. and the order for construction in 1958, and has given its estimated cost of the improvement hereinafter described as follows: Total cost of'improvement: 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvement as described there- in. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the tire, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated March 20, 1958" and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated March 27, 1958. Area 58-L.F.-22 V That part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of 'Section 5, Township 117, Range 2.1, lying Southeasterly of a line drawn parllel with and 1501 Northwesterly from the center line of Ridgeway Road, and East of the West 1951 -thereof. In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed .improvement, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvement is proposed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the descri tion set forth above, including all property within the described areas ardor abutting on streets described above and also including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way located in or abutting on the above described areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposedlateralsanitary sewer improvement, if any there be.
