#148 04-29-58 Approve Bids New Village Hall,024 Resolution No. 148 April 29, 1958 Member Teresi then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS" (New Village Hall) WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of this Council, Patch and Erickson, Arch— itects, have prepared final plans and specifications for construction of the New Village Hall and have presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1) That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2) That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Suburban Press and in the Construction Bulletin and advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifica— tions. The advertisement shall be published once, not less than three weeks before the last day for the submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids shall be opened and considered by the Council at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on May 27, 1958 in the Council chambers at 8030 Olson Memorial Highway, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five per cent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Ma v Attest: Vil 'ge Clerk and Administrator The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Scherer and, upon vete being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer and Teresi and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
