#152 05-13-58 Award Contract No. 58 LF A and BResolution No. 152 May 13, 1958 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and LVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR LATERAL SANITARY SEWER PROJECT NO. 58-L.F." (Sections A and B) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota as follows: 1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that the lowest respons- ible bidders for work and materials necessary for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Project No. 58-L.F., Sections A and B are as follows: Name of Bidder Peter Lametti Lametti and Sons, Inc. Portion of Work Bid on and Accepted Section A Section B Base Amount of Bid $ 418,195.96 $ 487,827.42 And that the bids submitted by said bidders listed above are in all respects in accordance with law and with the published advertisement for bids, and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the Council and now on file and of record in the office of the Village Clerk; and that the engineers employed by the Village have recommended that said bids be accepted, and said bids are hereby accepted. 2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to make and execute contracts on behalf of the Village in accordance with the terms of said bids when the bidders shall have furnished contractor*s bonds in the amount of the bids, conditioned as required by law. 3. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith all such cash deposits, bid bonds, certified checks or eashierts checks furnished by other bidders, and to retain those furnished by said contractors until the execution and filing of said contracts and bonds in his office. 4. All other bids are rejected. Attest: Vill gq' lerk and Administrator �, a ! a Resolution No. 152 (continued) May 13, 1958 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by'Alember Teresi and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
