Resolution No. 161 June 3, 1958
Member Teresi then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its
adoption;
"RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW VILLAGE HALL"
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that the lowest
responsible bidders for work and materials necessary for the construction
of the new Village Hall are as follows:

respects in accordance with law and with the published advertisement for
bids, and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the
Council and now on file and of record in the office of the Village Clerk;
and that the architects employed by the Village have recommended that
said bids be accepted, and said bids are hereby accepted.

2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to make and execute contracts on behalf of the Village in accordance
with the terms of said bids when the bidders shall have furnished
contractor's bonds in the amount of the bids, conditioned as required
by law.
3. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth-
with all such cash deposits, bid bonds, certified checks or cashier's
checks furnished by other bidders, and to retain those furnished by
said contractors until the execution and filing of said contracts and
bonds in his office.
All other bids are rejected.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Flannagan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Fies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
