Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its
adoption:
"RESOLUTD N ORDERING CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS"
(Kewanee Way Watermain,P-58-UM-1)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota,as follows:
1. That a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 o•clock P.M. at
the address of 8030 Floyd B. Olson Memorial Highway, in the Village of
Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as
required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons in-
terested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby
determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public im-
provements for said Village, in accordance with the descriptions of said
improvements contained in said notice, as follows:
Kewanee Way Watermain, P-58-WM-1
Said improvement is hereby designated as Public Improvement P-58 t^7M-1.
1. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements can
best be constructed as proposed and not in connection with some other
public improvements.
2. The costs of said improvements shall be paid out of special
assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing.
3. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the
construction of said proposed public improvements, and he is hereby author-
ized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for
said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval
at the earliest possible date.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Bies and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Teresi; and the following
voted against the same: None, Scherer abstained, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature
attested by the Clerk.
