#187 08-05-58 Order Work Done by Day Labor Miscellaneous Street ImprovementsResolution No. 187 August 52 1958 Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK DONE BY DAY LABOR" (Miscellaneous Street and Other Improvements - 1958) WHEREAS, plans and specifications for street improvements (Projects 58 -BS -2, 58 -BS -3, 58 -BS -4, 58 -BS -7, 58 -BS -11, 58 -BS -8, and 58 -BS -5) have heretofore been approved by the Village Council and, WHEREAS, completion of this project requires street grading and gravel- ing and bituminous surfacing of the streets, all of which work has heretofore been duly approved and ordered by the Village Council, Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Village Engineer shall proceed under the direction of the Council, as given from time to time, to carry on all work in connection with such improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications and resolution ordering said work done heretofore approved by the Council. 2. It is hereby found and determined that the Village of Golden Valley has sufficient equipment ofthe type necessary to carry on said street grading and graveling and bituminous surfacing. It is hereby directed that said equipment be used for said work and that the appropriate funds shall be charged for the use of said equipment the reasonable rental value thereof as the cost of said work, and the Village Engineer shall keep an accurate record and account of the use and rental of said equipment and shall incl"de it on any and all reports on the cost of work done by day labor under the provis- ions of this resolution. Ma r Attest: Villag Clerk 21nd Administrator r The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan, and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
