#193 08-19-58 Provide Public Hearing Road Running West from Westwood DriveResolution No. 193 August 19, 1958 Member Flannagan then introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT" (Road running West from Westwood Drive) BE IT RESOLVED BY the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to undertake and construct a certain Public Improvement within the Village as stated in the form of notice in- cluded in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Village Engineer has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvement is feasible and that it should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvement as follows: Total cost of Improvement: $3,066.35 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvement as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated August 21, 1958 and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated August 28, 1958. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (Road running West from Westwood Drive) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota will meet on Tuesday, September 2, 1958 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. at 8030 Floyd B. Olson Memorial Highway in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a proposed public improvement. In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the pro- posed improvement, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the author- ity granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended. All property in the Village which is benefited by the improvement is proposed to be assessed for such improvement and specifically the following described tracts of land abutting on said improvement are to be assessed: (a) Parcel #795 (F.
