#209 10-07-58 Destroy Certain Village RecordsResolution No. 209 October 7, 1958 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION TO DESTROY CERTAIN VILLAGE RECORDS" BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the Village Clerk and the Village Treasurer, as the case maybe, be and hereby are authorized, in accordance with the provisions of M.S.A. 412.841, to destroy certain Village records more than ten (10) years old as follows: Classes of Records to be Destroyed Range of Dates of the Records Cancelled checks of the Village 1931 through 1947 Justice of Peace Reports 1925 through 1947 2. The Clerk shall forthwith send to the Minnesota State Historical Society a copy of this resolution. If no petition or application request- ing said records under Minnesota Statutes, 1949, Section 138.04, is - received by the Village within Thirty (30) days after mailing of this resolution to the Society, the records shall be destroyed by the Clerk or Treasurer as the case may be. Attest: Vill e Clerk and Administrator c The motion for the adoption of ttreeforegoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupnn said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
