#218 12-02-58 Canvassing Returns of Special Election500 Resolution No. 218 December 2, 1958 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF SPECIAL ELECTIOAT" BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that the special election held in and for said. Village on this --day, December,2, 1958, has been in all respects duly conducted pursuant to notice thereof duly published and posted, and the returns thereof have been canvassed by this Council in accordance with law, and it is hereby found and determined that the votes cast upon the question submitted to the electors at said election was as follows: Shall the Village of Golden Valley borrow money and issue its negotiable coupon general obligation bonds in an amount not exceeding $97,000.00 for the purpose of partial development, improvement and equipment of existing park lands and recreational areas? Votes YES: 938 Votes NO: 538 Spoiled, blank or defective ballots: None Total Votes: 1476 And the said proposition, having received (not) less than a majority of the votes cast thereon, is hereby declared to (have) (have not) carried.
