#220 12-16-58 Order Improvements Sewer 59-LF 2 thru 9502 Resolution No. 220 December 16, 1958 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS" (Lateral Sanitary Sewers - Project No. 59-L.F.-2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 o*clock P.M. at the address of 7840 Sixth Avenue.North in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, as follows: Area 59-L.F.-2: All of said improvement is ordered constructed. Area 59-L.F.-5: All of said improvement is ordered constructed. Area 59-L.F.-6: All of said improvement is ordered constructed; except that construction of the improvement in and for Brunswick Avenue northerly from Glenwood Avenue to Cul -De -Sac is not ordered at this time; except that construct- ion of the improvement in and for Glenwood Avenue west from Meander Road to Brunswick Avenue is not ordered at this time. Area 59-L.F.-7: All of said improvement is ordered constructed. Area 59-L.F.-8: All of said improvement is ordered constructed, except that construction of the improvement in and for Sixth Avenue Westerly to Jersey Avenue 1000 feet from a point West of Douglas Drive is not ordered at this time. Area 59-L.F.-9: All of said improvement is ordered constructed. Resolution No, 220 (Continued) December 16, 1958 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvement is feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvement (the Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvement with other public improvement(s) at a later date if it seems advisable to do so). 3. The cost of said improvement(s) shall be paid out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The G. M. Orr Engineering Company is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and it is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifica— tions for said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. Attest: Village Clerk 4nd Administrator The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
