#012 03-17-59 Provide Hearing Improvements Sanitary Sewer No. 20 and 22Resolution No. 12 March 17, 1959 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A LATERAL SANITARY SEWER IMPOVE- MENT (LATERAL SANITARY SEWERS - PROJECT NO. 20 (Supplemental) and 22" BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct a certain lateral sanitary sewer improvement within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. Orr-Schelen, Inc., the engineers designated for the project, has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the pro- posed lateral sanitary sewer improvement is feasible and that it should best be made as proposed and in connection with such other lateral sani- tary sewer projects as may be and constitute part of Project No. 59-L.F. and be ordered for construction in 1959, and has given its estimated cost of the improvement hereinafter described as follows: Total cost of improvement: $13,700.00. 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvement as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated March 2, 1959, and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated April 2, 1959. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: VILIAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A CERTAIN PROPOSED LATERAL SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT (LATERAL SANITARY SEWERS - PROJECT NO. 59-L.F.) (20 (Supplemental) and 22) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota will meet on April 7, 1959 at 7:30 o* - clock P. M. at 7840 Sixth Avenue North in said Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a certain proposed lateral sanitary sewer improvement. Resolution No. 12 (Continued) March 17, 1959 Orr -Schelen, Inc., the engineers designated to the project estimate that the entire cost for the improvement will be $13,700.00. The area to be served will be as follows: Area 59-L.F. 20 (Supplemental) All that property contained in the following parcels: a. Commencing at a point in the East line of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 32 distant 50 ft. South from Northeast corner thereof; thence West 30 ft. thence South 105 ft. thence West 237.5 ft, thence South to Northwest corner of Creekside Addition; thence Easterly to Northeast corner thereof; thence North to beginning. (Hans Walz) Area 59-L.F, 22 All that property which may be served by lateral sanitary sewer inttalled on Colorado Avenue from Wayzata Boulevard to Laurel Avenue. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvement is proposed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the des- cription set forth above, including all property within the described areas and/or abutting on streets described above and also including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way located in or abutting on the above described areas. All owners of such property in the described above, are hereby notified and to make known their objections to improvement, if any there be. STANLEY D.
