#023 04-21-59 Approve Highway #100 and Turner's CrossroadRESOLUTION NO. 23 April 21, 1959 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption; RESOLUTION (Highway #100 and Turner*s Crossroad) WHEREAS the Commissioner of Highways has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway No. 130 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 100 within the corporate limits of the Village of Golden Valley from the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern R.R. to Approximately 0.1 mile north; and WHEREAS said plans are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as S.P. 2735-53 (T.H.100=130); and WHEREAS Said specifications are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as S.P. 2706-52 (T.H.7=12), S.P. 2721-31 (T.H.52=3), S.P. 2735-53 (T.H.100=130), which, together with the Minnesota Departmgnt of Highways Specifications for Highway Construction, dated July 1, 1947, and Supplement No. 1 to the Minnesota Department of Highways Specifications for Highway Construction, effective April 15, 1953, on file in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, constitute the specifications for said improvement of Trunk Highway Number 130 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 100; and WHEREAS copies of said plans and specifications as so marked, labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the Village Clerk, and WHEREAS the term "said pians and specifications" as heeeinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and incorporate the plans and specifications as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described. NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and specifications for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 130 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 100 within the limits of the Village of Golden Valley be and hereby are approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the elevations and grades as shown in said plans and specifications be and they are hereby approved and consent is hereby approved and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction of said Trunk Highway Number 130 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 100 in accordance with said plans and specifications. h ayor Attests age Cler1k & Administrator Resolution No. 23 (continued) April 21, 1959 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi; and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
