#025 04-23-59 Approve Public ExaminerRESOLUTION NO. 25 April 23, 1959 The Mayor announced that the Council had before it for consideration the letter of the certified public accountants who have been auditing the books of the Village for the year 1958, said letter being dated April 22, 1959. Said letter was read and considered by the Council. Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION Whereas this Council has had before it for consideration, and has considered, the annual audit report for the year 1958 of the certified public accountants appointed for that purpose together with the letters of said certified public accountants dated April 14, 1959, and April 22, 1959; and Whereas said certified public accountants have requested this Council to request the public examiner to perform such investigative services as may be necessary in the circumstances set forth in said letter of April. 22, 1959; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley hereby requests the public examiner to assist its certified public accountants and to perform such investigative services as the cir- cumstances and matter set forth in said letter of April 22, 1959, and the -public interest may require. The Village Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution together with copies of the letts referred to and any other pertinent data and information to the public examiner. Mayor Attest: Vi.1 Clerk ddnd Administrator The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Bies, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
