#036 05-19-59 Order Construction Street Improvements1 1 Resolution No. 36 May 19, 1959 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS" (Miscellaneous Street and Other Improvements - 1959) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a hearing held on this day at 7:30 o'clock P. M. at the address of 7840 Sixth Avenue North, in the Village of Golden Valley, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice except as follows: Bituminous Surfacing 59 -BS -2 Hampshire Lane from Duluth Street to Hampshire Avenue North is not ordered constructed at this time. 2. The cost of said improvements shall be paid out of special assess- ments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 3. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the con- struction of proposed public improvements, and he is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvement and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date.
