Member Teresi introduced and read the following resolution and MOVED its
adoption:
"RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET SYSTEM"
WHEREAS, It appears to the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley that the street hereinafter described should be designated as
"Municipal State Aid Streets" under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of
1957, Chapter 943;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley that the streets described and numbered as follows, to wit:
MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
1 Duluth Street From County Road #18 to Winnetka Avenue
2, Plymouth Avenue From County Road #18 to Winnetka Avenue
3. Olympia Street From Winnetka Avenue to Douglas Drive
4. Noble Avenue From Golden Valley Road to 34th Avenue
North
5. Turners Crossroad
6. Western Avenue
7. Louisiana Avenue
8. Sixth Avenue North
9. Louisiana Avenue

approval of the Commissioner of Highways
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the
Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, that upon his approval
of the disignation of said streets, or portions thereof, such approved
streets orportionsthereof shall comprise the Municipal State Aid
Street System of the Village of Golden Valley, and that same be con-
structed, improved and maintained in accordance with the rules and reg-
ulatiDns of the Commissioner of Highways, and the provisions of Minn-
esota Laws of 1957, Chapter 943.
Adopted June 2, 1959.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following
members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer; and
Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed
by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
