WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable, and in the public interest
that the Village of Golden Valley acquire easements and slope ease—
ments over certain lands for the purpose of establishing and improving
a certain public street and parts thereof, and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this it is necessary to acquire
easements and slope easements over the following described lands,

WHEREAS, the Village is advised and believes that the most feasible
location for such streets and parts thereof is on the lands described
above, Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Golden Valley proceed to procure
said easements and slope easements and title thereto, under its right of
eminent domain, and that the Village Attorney be instructed and directed
to file the necessary petitions therefor, and to prosecute such action
to a successful conclusion or until it is abandoned, dismissed or term•
inated by the Village or by the Court; and that the Village Attorney,
the Mayor, and the Clerk, do all things necessary to be done in the
commencement, prosecution, and sucsessful termination of such action.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Bies and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
