Resolution No. 46

Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its
adoption:
"RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS"
(Hampshire Avenue from Hampshire Lane and all of Hampshire
Place (all streets in A.J. Andersons 1st Addition);
Tyrol Trail. North from Tyrol Trail 200 feet; Hampshire
Lane from Green Valley Road to Hampshire Avenue North;
Regent Avenue from Culver to 33rd Avenue. North Lowry
Terrace from Quail to Regent Avenue); 33rd Avenue North
between Noble Avenue North and Quail Avenue North)
Pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 429.101, 35 seq., and the pro—
visions of the Village Code, Section 127.01, et seq., IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED AND DIRECTED:
1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment,
including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment.
Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials,
and the employment of day labor.
2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of
such work done on each street, and shall report such information to
the Village Clerk.
3. That on or before September 1, 1959, the Clerk shall prepare
an assessment roll, assessing all costs of such work reported to him
by the Village Engineer against each seperate lot and parcel of land
benefited by such work,and shall present said roll to the Village
Council. All of such special assessments shall be payable in a
single installment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent
(6%) per annum.
4. That the Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit
forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Bies and, upon vote being taken thereon, the
following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy,
Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against ithe .same: done,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
