#065 08-18-59 Vacate Streets and Portions of Streets131 Resolution No. 65 August, 18, 1959 Member Teresi then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION VACATING STREETS AND PORTIONS OF STREETS" WHEREAS, petitions of the majority of the owners of real property fronting on the lines of the streets and portions of streets and portions of streets described below, have been duly filed with the Village Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published and posted, and has heard all interested persons, and it appears in the interest of the public that said streets and portions of streets be vacated, Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of ,the Village of Golden Valley, that the streets and portions of streets described below, as the same are now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of said Village be, and the same hereby, are, vacated: That part of Douglas Drive North lying between T.H. No. 55 and the South line of the Northeast Quarter (1) of the Southeast Quarter (4) of Section 32, Township 118, Range 21, and adjacent to Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, and Outlot 1, Block 3, Westchester Addition. That part of Half Moon Drive lying Westerly of a line described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast Corner -of Lot 10, Stewart's Ridgeway First Addition; thence South along the East line of said Lot 10, distant 68.82 feet to the actual point of beginning, said point being the point of curve in the Westerly line of Half Moon Drive; thence continuing South along said East line extended 103.67 feet; thence on a tangential curve to the left having a radius of 78.69 feet, distant 97.03 feet to its intersection with the Southwesterly line of said Half Moon Drive, and there terminating. Ma.y Attest: Village erk and Administrator The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies"Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
