#070 09-01-59 Approve Bids Plymouth Avenue142 o Resolution No. 70 September 1, 1959 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PIANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Plymouth Avenue) WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the Council on September 1, 1959, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for Plymouth Avenue Improvement 59-GG-3,and 59 -SS -5, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for their approval; Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Suburban Press and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, not less than three weeks before the last day for the submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 7:30 o'clock P.M on October 6, 1959, in the Council Chambers at 7800 Golden Valley Road, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier*s check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five per cent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Mayor I` Attest: Vi age/Clerk-arid Administrator The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
