#080 10-20-59 Approve Calling ElectionResolution No. 80 October 20, 1959 Member Teresi introduced and read the following written resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION CALLING .ELECTION" Be it resolved, that at the annual Village Election to be held in the Village of Golden Valley on the 8th day of December, 1959, from 7:00 o*clock a.m. to 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the usual polling places, the following proposition shall be submitted to the voters of the Village: "Shall Optional Plan B, providing for the Council - Manager form of Village Government, be adopted for the government of the Village?" Be it resolved further, that the Village Clerk prepare the necessary ballots and tally sheets, give ten days posted and one weeks published notice and arrange other details necessary for the election. Adopted by the Village Council this 20th day of October, 1959. r Mayor Attest: _ Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
